Sanfu Shipbuilding Lays Keel for Second 63,500 DWT Eco-Friendly Bulk Carrier for Thai Owner

On June 23, Sanfu Shipbuilding held a keel-laying ceremony for a 63,500 DWT bulk carrier (hull number: SF240102) built for a Thai shipowner.

The vessel has a total length of 199.90 meters, a length between perpendiculars of 196.50 meters, a beam of 32.26 meters, a depth of 18.9 meters, a structural draft of 13.50 meters, a speed of approximately 13.5 knots, and is classified by NK.

It is reported that the SF240102 that started construction this time is the second vessel in the series, and the construction of the first vessel started on March 4 this year.

This series of vessels adopts low-resistance hull design and energy-saving and environmentally friendly systems, which improve cargo loading efficiency while meeting the latest IMO environmental standards.
