On May 15, China Merchants Jinling Shipyard in Yangzhou (CMJL Yangzhou) cut steel for the CMGT0039 project–a 3,400 m³ LNG tank for 9200 CEU PCTC.
The tank will be installed in the dual-fuel 9200 CEU PCTC ro-ro project to be built at China Merchants Heavy Industries Haimen shipyard (CMHI Haimen shipyard).
Classed by DNV, the liquid tank is an independent C-type binaural fuel tank with reinforced spray-foam insulation.
The project is said to be the first set of binaural tank built by CMJL Yangzhou.
