On April 30th, Huang Hai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. signed a contract with Hong Kong company of New Legend Group for the construction of 2+2 50,000 DWT MR product tankers.
With an overall length of 182.75m, a beam of 32.20m and a structural draught of 49,990 tons, the product tanker has a total of 14 cargo holds and is equipped with independent cargo hoses and hydraulic submersible pumps, allowing it to carry seven types of cargoes simultaneously. It meets Tier III emission requirements and Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index (EEXI) Phase III standards.
It is understood that this is the second new ship order made public by Huanghai Shipbuilding this year. on January 4, Huanghai Shipbuilding signed a shipbuilding contract for four 5,400HP pure electric harbor tugs.
