On October 15, CSSC Chengxi Shipyard, a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC),delivered the 50,000 DWT MR oil and chemical tanker “CS GYR”, built for Singapore-based Singfar, 77 days ahead of the contractual delivery date. This vessel is the 24th newbuild delivered by CSSC Chengxi Shipyard this year.
The “CS GYR” is the second 50,000 DWT MR oil and chemical tanker built by CSSC Chengxi Shipyard for Singfar, and it is also a flagship product of the “Hongyun” series, which was independently developed by the shipbuilder.
This vessel combines outstanding performance with superior cargo adaptability and flexibility. The cargo holds are coated with MarineLINE specialty coating, which offers excellent resistance to chemical agents, significantly expanding the range of cargo types that can be carried and further enhancing the vessel’s operational flexibility and market competitiveness.
