Recently, Fujian Funing Shipbuilding Heavy Industry, a subsidiary of Fujian Shipbuilding Industry Group (Fujian Shipbuilding), signed a contract for one 66.9-meter anchor-handling tugboat.
It is reported that the vessel was independently developed and designed by Fujian Fuchuan Ocean Engineering Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. and is a multi-purpose offshore work tugboat for unlimited navigation areas.
The vessel has an overall length of 66.9 meters, a beam of 16.8 meters, a depth of 6.8 meters, a design draft of 4.5 meters, and a design speed of 13 knots. It is equipped with FIFI-1 offshore firefighting capabilities and DPS-2 dynamic positioning capabilities. It can carry operational materials such as drilling fluid, mud, and cement, and is capable of performing a wide range of offshore engineering operations, including deep-sea towing, supply delivery, and platform support.
