Yu Chai Marine Power signed Letters of Intent of 28 main engines supply

Recently, Yu Chai Marine Power Co., LTD.(Yu Chai Marine Power) signed a Letter of Intent for the cooperation of methanol dual-fuel main engines for 18 new-built bulk carriers with Fujian Guohang Ocean Shipping.

On the following day, Yu Chai Marine Power and China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) signed a letter of intent on four sets of 5S50ME-C9.7-LPSCR main engines for 25,000 DWT and 25,900 DWT stainless steel chemical tankers, and four sets of 5X52 S2.0 main engines for 15,000 DWT chemical tankers.

It is understood that Yu Chai Marine Power’s main engine has helped China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) to deliver a number of high-quality vessels. Among them, the vessel “TERNSUND” loaded with Yu Chai Marine Power’s 5RT-flex50DF main engine was honored as one of the world’s top ten ships in 2016 by the international marine magazine “Maritime Reporter and Engineering News”.
