On March 26, Chengxi Shipyard delivered “CAPE BONNY”, the second newbuilding in its series of the 50,000 DWT Product Oil/Chemical Tanker built for SCHOELLER, achieving a strong start to the first quarter. It also marks the eighth newbuilding delivered by the shipyard so far this year.
As one of the flagship series featuring Chengxi’s in-house design, the 50,000DWT Product Oil/Chemical Tanker boasts excellent performance, superior cargo adaptability and operational flexibility with a liquid cargo tank capacity of 53,500 cubic meters. The vessel has an overall length of 182.7 meters, a molded breadth of 32.20 meters, a molded depth of 19.10 meters, a design draft of 11.00 meters and a service speed of 14.5 knots, classed by ABS.
