DSIC Secures 2+2 114,000 DWT Product Tanker Order From European shipowner

On January 16, China State Shipbuilding Corporation Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (DSIC), in collaboration with CSSC Trading, successfully signed a contract with a renowned European shipowner for the construction of 2+2 114,000 DWT product tankers.

This project represents DSIC’s latest generation of eco-friendly LR2 vessel design, featuring an overall length of approximately 250 meters and a beam of 44 meters. Through hull design upgrades and optimizations, the vessel achieves enhanced energy efficiency and overall performance.

Simultaneously, the design incorporates the latest maritime safety and environmental standards, meeting the most recent requirements of major oil companies. The vessel demonstrates leading levels of safety, adaptability and energy-saving efficiency.
