China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Dingheng Delivers Third Stainless Steel Chemical Tanker for Gentco Logistics

On December 20, China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Dingheng held a naming and delivery ceremony of the third 25,900 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker “SC EMERALD”, built for Gentco Logistics.

The SC EMERALD is the third vessel in a series of 25,900 dwt stainless steel chemical tankers jointly developed by Gentco Logistics and China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Dingheng, and is classed by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).

The vessel features a new-generation energy-efficient hull form and advanced liquid cargo system configuration, equipped with high-efficiency main engines, an optimized propulsion system, and multiple environmental technologies. It offers advantages including low energy consumption, minimal emissions, and high operational safety. Its design fully complies with the latest international environmental and safety regulations, providing robust support for Junzheng Shipping to further enhance its global liquid chemical transportation capacity and green operational standards.

Gentco Logistics operates nearly 80 chemical tankers ranging from 3,000 to 40,000 deadweight tons. It has passed TMSA audits by renowned companies such as BASF, Shell, and XOM, as well as SIRE inspections by major oil companies like Shell and BP, and inspections by the Chemical Distribution Association (CDI). Gentco Logistics holds a leading position in the global maritime transport of fine liquid chemicals, such as PMDI, TDI, HMD and PO.
