December 3, 2025, Shanghai, China – During Marintec China 2025, the joint design for a marine liquid hydrogen fuel supply system, developed by Zhejiang Yada Green Energy Solutions Co., Ltd. (YADA) and Everllence Cryo AB, was granted an Approval in Principle (AiP) certificate by Bureau Veritas (BV).

This AiP certifies that the innovative design meets industry-leading standards for technical feasibility, safety, and environmental compliance, establishing a solid foundation for its subsequent engineering application and onboard implementation.
The AiP followed a professional review and rigorous assessment by BV’s plan appraisal experts in Shanghai and France. YADA and Everllence Cryo sincerely appreciate BV’s continuous support and professional guidance in the field of clean energy, which represents another significant endorsement of their collaborative solutions by BV.
The AiP-awarded hydrogen fuel system is designed for liquid hydrogen storage onboard and the supply of high-pressure gaseous hydrogen to fuel cells. The system incorporates a vacuum-insulated fuel tank located below deck and a modular, scalable gas supply system, offering the flexibility to adapt to various vessel types, sizes, and operating profiles.
The development of this system aims to advance the application of green hydrogen in shipping, supporting vessels in achieving clean energy transition, and remains highly aligned with the IMO’s 2050 net-zero greenhouse gas emission strategy.

Since the inception of their strategic partnership in 2022, YADA and Everllence Cryo, capitalizing on their respective strengths in technical design and system integration, have successfully implemented multiple dual-fuel supply systems on board vessels, fully demonstrating the technical capability and market value of their collaborative model.
Looking ahead, the “Everllence Cryo + YADA” alliance will continue to strengthen their strategic collaboration and is committed to providing the global maritime market with comprehensive clean fuel solutions covering design, integration, commissioning, and technical support, injecting sustained momentum into the green and low-carbon development of the global shipping industry.
