On November 8, Zhoushan Ningshing Shipbuilding & Repairing hosted a steel cutting ceremony for the 3,000m³ class trailing suction hopper dredger invested in by Zhejiang Haijian Port and Navigation Engineering (hereinafter referred to as “Haijian Port and Navigation”) at its Beilun Huanhai Base.

This 3,000m³ self-propelled trailing suction hopper dredger possesses the capability to efficiently execute complex operations such as large-scale channel dredging and deep-sea reclamation. Its construction marks a significant step forward in optimizing and upgrading Haijian Port and Navigation’s equipment resource allocation. It will substantially enhance the dredging capacity of Ningbo Zhoushan Port’s terminal channels, thereby strengthening its core competitiveness.
