Recently, Shandong Port Equipment Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shandong Port Group, successfully secured an international order for three 12,600 DWT multi-purpose vessels, with an optional additional vessel, marking its successful entry into the UK market.
It is reported that the vessel has a total length of 149.9 meters, a beam of 22.8 meters, a depth of 12.0 meters, and a designed draft of 7.5 meters. It can meet the flexible loading needs of large cargo such as wind power equipment and marine engineering modules. It has the characteristics of green energy saving, excellent maneuverability, and strong cargo handling capacity. It is a new generation of green, low-carbon and environmentally friendly multi-purpose vessel.
The signing of this project embodies the accelerated global expansion of Shandong Port Equipment Group’s offshore engineering equipment business. This entry into the UK market will further elevate the international profile of the offshore equipment brand, laying the foundation for future expansion into broader global markets.
