On September 15, Sanfu Shipbuilding held a steel cutting ceremony at its steel fabrication workshop for a 14,000 DWT multi-purpose vessel for a German shipowner.

The vessel has an overall length of 159.75 meters, a length between perpendiculars of 152.75 meters, a beam of 22.80 meters, a depth of 11.55 meters, a structural draft of 8.30 meters, a speed of 15.5 knots and is classified by DNV.

The vessel is equipped with two 350-ton cranes, with a combined lifting capacity of up to 700 tons.

The design adopts two cargo holds with open loading HATCHCOVERLESS classification notation. The larger cargo hold has a total length of nearly 90 meters and is equipped with three adjustable second decks. It has strong cargo adaptability. In addition to transporting containers and bulk cargo, it can also efficiently carry extra-long, extra-high and heavy-duty engineering machinery and equipment such as wind power equipment and cranes.
