Recently, Shanghai Chuangwei Construction Engineering completed the lifting operation of the main structure of a 1000t×210m gantry crane built for Offshore Oil Engineering (Qingdao), marking a milestone in the project. The operation took 10 days.
As described, this gantry crane consists of a gantry structure (including main girder, rigid legs, flexible legs), upper and lower trolleys, running mechanism, electrical system, and precision components such as a maintenance boom swing hoist. It features the following highlights:
- Extra-large load capacity and span: This crane has a rated lifting capacity of 1,000 tons and a main girder span of 210 meters, making it one of the top specifications in the field of single-girder gantry cranes.
- Unique structural design: The crane adopts a single main girder structure, equipped with herringbone rigid legs and herringbone circular tube flexible legs. The combination of rigidity and flexibility ensures stability and adaptability.
- Dual-track operation system: The innovative design of the upper and lower dual trolley system greatly improves operational flexibility and efficiency, meeting the needs of complex working conditions.
