On May 28, China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Nanjing) (“CMJL (Nanjing)”) successfully launched the third 9,500 CEU PCTC (pure car and track carrier) built for SAIC Anji Logistics.
It is understood that the PCTC has a total length of 228 meters and a beam of 37.8 meters. It integrates and applies a variety of advanced energy-saving technical measures, and its comprehensive energy efficiency throughout its life cycle reaches the international leading level.
The PCTC adopts a unique “methanol deep reservation” design, completes the installation of ultra-large volume methanol fuel tanks and fuel preparation rooms, and reserves all related pipe systems, providing maximum flexibility for shipowners to choose alternative fuels in the future.
At the same time, the PCTC has an intelligent integration platform with unified collection of information data for the whole vessel, realizing centralized management of hardware and software computing resources for the whole vessel network and intelligent vessel system.
