Chimbusco Pan Nation Petro-Chemical Co Ltd (CPN), a leading bunker supplier in Hong Kong, has set a record for China’s largest B24 marine biofuel bunkering operation, seamlessly delivering 6,300 MT of B24-VLSFO in Hong Kong to the vessel XIN LOS ANGELES on 15 May 2025.
This landmark deal, eclipsing CPN’s previous record of 5,500 MT delivered in February 2025, leverages the capacity of CPN’s largest bunkering barge fleet in Hong Kong and the efficiency of its dedicated operations team, underscoring CPN’s sustained excellence in large-scale marine biofuel supply.
This collaboration reinforces CPN’s ability to execute large-scale marine biofuel bunkering with precision and reliability. By consistently supplying large volumes of B24 marine biofuel, CPN supports reduced carbon emissions and sustainable shipping practices globally.
CPN remains committed to driving the adoption of sustainable marine fuels, ensuring a stable and scalable supply chain for eco-friendly fuel solutions. This operation solidifies CPN’s position as a trusted partner in the maritime industry’s transition to greener fuels.
Besides, CPN in collaboration with Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd (OOCL), completed Hong Kong’s first B30 marine biofuel bunkering operation on May 7, 2025, supplying ISCC-EU Certified B30 marine biofuel to a containership operated by OOCL. This milestone followed the IMO MEPC 83 approval, which permits conventional bunker tankers to carry biofuel blends up to 30%. The B30 blend, comprising 30% biodiesel, further reduced carbon emissions compared to B24 biofuel, advancing sustainable maritime operations.
Established in 1991, Chimbusco Pan Nation (CPN) has evolved from a local Hong Kong supplier to a leading trading house and physical bunker supplier with a global presence. With strong operations in Hong Kong and Singapore, CPN is a trusted partner in these key maritime hubs, delivering high-quality fuels. Committed to sustainability and reliability, CPN operates the Hong Kong’s largest barge fleets, advancing the maritime industry’s transition to a net-zero future.
