Technomak announced on social media that the company has signed a significant Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Integration (EPCCI) agreement with Dixstone for the Cap Lopez Floating LNG (FLNG) Project of Perenco Gabon. This landmark partnership marks a major step forward in Technomak’s expanding role in providing advanced offshore modular solutions that contribute to the global cleaner energy and carbon footprint reduction.
The agreement was signed, in the UAE by Mr. Haxer Ali, Group CEO of Technomak and Mr. Michel Gotab, Managing Director of Dixstone Gulf, in the presence of Mr. Benoît de la Fouchardière, CEO of Dixstone and Mr. El Houssain El Bouzidi, CEO of Technomak Process Systems.
The Cap Lopez FLNG facility will boast an annual production capacity of 700,000 tons of LNG and 25,000 tons of LPG. A central component of the project, the FLNG barge, will be fabricated and integrated at Technomak’s yard in the UAE prior to its deployment at the Cap Lopez Terminal in Gabon. This collaboration showcases the strong synergy between Technomak and Dixstone, united by a commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-performance energy infrastructure.
Dixstone, which made a final investment decision (FID) on the Cap Lopez FLNG project in early 2023, is said to have now secured a construction, procurement and integration agreement for the project. Earlier this year, Aragon, a subsidiary of Singapore-based Seatrium, was selected to provide LNG liquefaction technology for the FLNG project, further strengthening the project’s technology base.
Commenting on the agreement, Mr. Haxer Ali stated:”We are honored to be chosen by Dixstone for this impactful LNG infrastructure project. Technomak’s modular EPC capabilities will play a key role in ensuring a safe, timely, and forward-looking execution that supports the global movement toward sustainable energy.”
