Dashanzhou Shipbuilding Breaks Ground For First China-Built Tanker for Korea’s DM Shipping

On October 15, Zhoushan Dashanzhou Shipbuilding officially kicke off construction of a 14,500 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker for South Korea’s DM Shipping at Panzhi plant of Dashenzhou Shipbuilding.

South Korea’s DM Shipping Co., Ltd. is a leading chemical shipping company in South Korea. And the 14,500DWT stainless steel chemical tanker that started construction this time is the first China-made project in DM Shipping’s fleet expansion plan.

The collaboration between the two parties not only represents a high recognition of Dazhongzhou Shipbuilding’s design and construction capabilities in the chemical tanker sector, but also serves as a powerful testament to the continuously rising competitiveness of “China Intelligent Manufacturing” in the international high-end shipping market.
