It is capable of handling outfitting operations for vessels with a deadweight tonnage of 150,000 tons.

The completion and commissioning of Wharf No.9. marks a significant milestone in the development of COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Zhoushan). It will optimize the allocation of production resources, improve operational efficiency, and provide more stable and high-quality services to global customers.

Located on Liuheng Island in the Zhoushan Archipelago New Area of Zhejiang Province, COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) serves as COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry’s sole large-scale shipbuilding and offshore equipment manufacturing base within Zhejiang’s high-quality development initiative to build a demonstration zone for common prosperity.

Currently, the company has established a production facility layout centered around three dry docks, two slipways, and eight berths, with its overall production scale continuing to expand. Concurrently, the construction projects for Dry Dock No. 4 and Berth No. 8 are actively progressing, which will further enhance the company’s production capacity foundation and its capabilities in repairing and constructing large vessels.
